Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Six days after Porter was born Paul went out to Manitowoc Wisconsin to check out one of our new cranes being built. I let him go on the trip because I had him cancel his Boston Red Soxs trip 3 weeks earlier (I thought I was going to deliver a little early instead of going past due) and nevermind that it was our 8th anniversary too... ok enough enough I won't bring up any more. The OC Choppers made this bike for the Manitowoc company and it was actually revealed at the Expo that we went to in Vegas-Paul got his 15 secs of fame because he was on the OC Chopper episode- so we recorded it.
I think its a bit big!!!! The main use for cranes this large is for erecting and maintaining windmills. And they say size doesn't matter-heeheeheehee.

Check out my Loot!!!

Sale + Coupons = Food Storage

I get excited when good deals come along and this one was awesome. Smith's Grocery sale was ending tomorrow and the mail in rebates started today so I had a one day window. I figured since I do not sleep well these days I would beat any rush and go at Midnight-I'm pregnant and pretty much crazy. Here's the rundown on my savings- the 84 items would have been $271.15 but with the sale and my coupons it came to $58.15 but that's not all I have 7 mail in rebates each for $10 so after all is said and done I will make $11.85 minus the cost of stamps. They paid me to take their food I love it.
We will have the stake canning machine in August so I have heard of people canning their cereal in the #10 cans and the cereal was still good after 6 years-so I figure it couldn't hurt to try.
I learned about coupons from Marilyn Hawk with Coupon Sense which was fabulous and once I got it down I have been using PinchingYourPennies.com

New sleeping arrangements

Logan has lately played the monster card so he can sleep in our bed but I can no longer handle it with my large belly- so we put him down in his bed. I was on the other side of the stairs working on something so he knew he couldn't come over my way so he stayed on his side. It was pretty cute to see him bring his pillow out and cuddle up to the wall-I'm so mean. We put him back in his bed but no worries he made his way to our bed at 6am and then went back to sleep.

5 days until 08-08-08

I figured I should at least post one picture of my pregnant self since it won't be much longer.

Company Camp out in Heber

We had a company camp out Aug 1st through the 3rd but with me about to pop I just went up on Saturday. We had yummy food and some serious entertainment. Paul and Keith Van Vrankin a crane dealer from H&E Equipment.

Logan and Grandpa downing Gatorade Now for the entertainment: A scavenger hunt on old vehicles but the catch is you have to find the part and detach using a mini excavator. Mitch was trying to get a door is this picture:
Dave was an excellent tutor in teaching the less experienced how to operate heavy machinery.

Splash Park Adventures

My BYU buddies came to town to cool off-Debbie and Ellie from Washington and Anne and Ryan from Provo-its always great to catch up. Plus Logan and I have never made it to our community Splash Park.
And so we decided to go again a few days later:
I just love how Callie poses and Nikki's adorable Tinkerbell swimsuit.

Round 2

This is how I get Logan exhausted for the day let him jump to his hearts content. Danielle and I took the boys to the kids barn and had a good time-Danielle was a sport and took Logan on a few things. This was a funny story-I go to race Logan in the obstacle course and I didn't make it to the end so Danielle came to check on me and I was getting mauled by a toddler-he seriously took me down. I could not get him off for the life of me. Pregnant woman DOWN!!!

The Gundys

My most favorite people in the world just moved to St. George-The Gundersons!!! They bought an amazing parade of homes home that was dubbed the Phantom of the Opera home. Look how beautiful the pool is-and behind the waterfall you walk into a room with the hot tub. Ellie and Logan
Logan's other favorite feature the indoor slide.

Logan and Dano
I am so thrilled they have moved to Utah-they were just waiting for In-N-Out to come which happened to be perfect timing.

Crane Project in Hurricane

Someone is building an out of control golf course in Hurricane UT which is in no mans land but we didn't mind the project one bit. One of our cranes from Vegas came out for the job and one from Salt Lake we had to place a bridge over a gulley so golf carts can get across. One of the biggest crane magazines was interested in the project so we had pictures taken and we will soon be on the cover for next month-we are so excited to see it.

Float Preview

Instead of sitting in the sun for the 24th of July parade we cheated and went to the float preview with Callie and Nikki and Caden -it was fabulous because it was indoors and the kids could get up close to the floats. We couldn't resist the Jazz Float:
Or the crane one:

How to put kids asleep

Paul and Shane Hoskins took the jeep for a ride one Sunday with the boys and before you report me to child services let me tell you about jeeping-it is super slow about 4-5 miles per hour. It is also called "Rock Crawling," not my ideal way to travel -I say give me SPEED. So anyways the boys came home and it rocked them to sleep we thought it was pretty funny.

A day at the Kid Barn

How do you get 4 kids to smile for a picture? You don't. We had a great day with the adorable McAllister girls Sydney, Addi and Lily!!! The Kids Barn was a huge room of bouncy houses.
Logan and Lily were determined to do everything the older kids did...

and they did!!! This was a great way to wear out the kids-I highly recommend it.

The Shirt says it all: Logan loves playing at Grandma's.
Logan loves his Aunt Meg!

***4th of July Weekend***

My Little camper:
So after a few weekends of cleaning up the Heber property we were ready to enjoy and have fun!!! Both the Bruses and Burghardts joined us for the weekend.
Although the boys still enjoyed moving dirt and playing with big toys.
And what is a trip to Heber without a shake from the Dairy Keen:)
