Herriman Days

Herriman Days was a fun little afternoon with the kids. They had all kinds of carnival rides, booths, mazes and treats.
Logan got his first pet...a frog. Guess what he named the frog- bumble bee as in his favorite transformer.

Cruising in the boat
Ride that pony! At last he was not afraid...hip hip hooray...seriously.
Logan in the firetruck

Porter loved being outside checking out everything that was going on!

Two boys who love their Daddy!

I asked Logan why he loves his daddy..."because he loves me and takes me to the Red Store (Target).
P-Town as Paul calls Porter gets so excited when he hears his daddy's voice walking in the door from work.
These two boys love playing and getting any attention from Daddy.
We are so lucky and blessed to have such an amazing father and husband.

A Father's Day Request

Paul's Dinner request was a new Italian Dish with his favorite garlic cheese pull apart bread. So I found Carrabba's Italian Grill recipe for Pollo Rosa Maria one of my favorites when I worked their in AZ. Its chicken stuffed with prosciutto and fontina cheese with a mushroom sauce.
On this recipe I learned how to clarify butter thank goodness for google. And I made garlic mashers to also go with it. Our house cannot get enough garlic-
Give me flavor and carbs please!

And his request for dessert...double chocolate cream cheese bread pudding with creme anglaise!
We got our weeks worth of calories in one night...oops.
Anything for our wonderful daddy!!!

Tammy's Shower

I made my first Diaper Cake using the burp rags I usually make. Tammy is having a girl in July & we are thrilled for her!
Carrie made her fabulous Crepes, Jane made a yummy lime sparkling drink and I made a Carmel Pecan french toast.
Tammy with her sisters and mom

Treats of course:)

Date Night!

Isn't this such a fun crazy idea? Our crane in Vegas holds up the table 180 feet high!

The table holds 22 people and in the middle it has room for the chef, host and 2 servers. They strap you in like a roller coaster and you eat your main course and dessert in the sky.

This was a picture before take off. Lon and Colton joined us for the adventure.
This is Paul's favorite picture! Can you see whats behind us? Oh In-N Out! It was a little windy but the temperature was perfect. The chairs could swivel and even recline-I loved it Paul was holding on to the table all night.
They offer champagne to ease the jitters but us Los Mormonez enjoyed the Sparkling Cider.

This cute couple from France celebrated a birthday!

I figured if I got my feet in the picture it would prove I was up high!

Peru after Party

We had Brandon Walker and the Strobells and Hawes over to talk about our trip to Peru.
I made Cafe Rio pork soft tacos and cilantro rice and fried ice cream. Lindsay made fabulous smoothies just like we had in Peru.
And the Strobells brought this crazy chocolate layered cake and authentic peruvian cookies.
