One Random Saturday!

We went down to Provo to visit Uncle Skyler and to just hang out. Went to University Mall and let Logan run through the Dino play area, roll the huge marble world and get a bit wet. We had dinner at one of our favorite places Carabba's Italian Grill ( I worked at Carabbas in Arizona) I love the Insalata Fiorucci-roasted red peppers, artichokes hearts, eggplant, hazelnut goat cheese medallion so many tastes at one time it makes my mouth water-its that good! The chicken trio is Paul's fav sometimes you have to ask for it because its not on the menu.

We went to Seattle to hang out with Aunt Meg!!! Thanks for showing us around we loved it and will be back soon.

We journeyed up to Forks that's right Twilight's birthplace. I ran into this cute high school couple (Bella & Edward) at the market and we bought the dudes authentic Forks Spartan sweatshirt off him. All other souvenir shops were closed and there wasn't a place to stay within a 200 mile radius so we were so sad to return to Seattle. We had a blast while we were there it was foggy and started raining of course! The whole town went Twilight the motel's sign read "Edward Cullen did not sleep here" the markets sign said "Bella shops here" and the local restaurants have food items that are dedicated to the characters. The town even donated a house for tourists to walk through that looks like Bellas and they have her truck.

Blue & Gold Banquet

As my sister says.."the party starts with the invite!!!"

It folded down on itself and had an insert for Parent and Scout assignments. And a shout out to Cheryl (Paul's mom who owns her own printing company) who supplied me with all the materials free of charge.

I am on the committee for the cub scouts at church (over special events aka party planner-yeah for me!) This years theme was the American A, B, C's so I decided to go with the idea of a Round Up Theme. And mention many places in the U.S. that start with different letters. The planning all started with the invite and fabric and then I was off to the races. Think denim, burlap and handkerchiefs.

Planning for cub scouts rather than Enrichment was kind of hard but my friend Sara kept reminding me "its okay its Scouts you don't have to iron the tablecloths or eat on real dishes." She brought me to my senses and it turned out quite fun.

We had 5 different chilies, baked potatoes, side dishes and yummy American Desserts (apple pie, cobbler etc.)

I had one display of locations the scouts had been along with their pictures and souvenirs.Posted by Picasa
I thought it went well almost 80 people came.

One Happy Baby!

The tongue is always out now...so he gets everything wet.
