Annual Deer Valley Trip!!!

We typically celebrate our anniversary over Labor Day weekend (with kids) up at the Lodges in Deer Valley. Its off season up there so the prices are great and the weather is fabulous-except this year. It rained and rained and rained some more. But it turned out great because we always go to the Showcase of Homes and its all indoors-its amazing how big and crazy some of the houses can get.
Park City had a parade on Labor Day and started it with the "Running of the Balls" they had my father n laws tow company dump 1,000 tennis balls from the top of main street the problem was it was so wet the tennis balls got stuck and wouldn't roll down-it was a flop. But there were some interesting groups in the parade the funniest/weirdest was the Happy Baton Twirling Gay Group seriously that was their club name.
We got some entertainment as usual at Papa Belcher's where he seriously has a petting zoo. He started his collection with his 2 goats then he added a miniature donkey and most recently got a baby buffalo. He is currently looking into a miniature zebra and a kangaroo-fun for the grand kids.
